This site doesn’t track you: no cookies, no analytics, no content loaded from a third party.

When you visit this site

No cookie is set and no analytics tool is installed. The fonts and images come from the site itself.

Like any web server, ours records the IP address, the date, the requested page, the browser used and the referring page in a technical log. This log is used for the security and proper running of the site; it is deleted automatically after a few weeks.

When you write to us

The form sends us your name, your email address and your message by email, to a Gmail (Google) mailbox. They are used only to reply to you and are not stored anywhere else. The controller of this processing is the site’s publisher, relying on its legitimate interest in replying to you. Google may store these emails outside the European Union. They are deleted at the latest one year after our last exchange.

To limit abusive submissions, your IP address is kept in working memory for one day at most, never on disk.

When you download ChatonLM

The files are hosted by GitHub: your browser downloads them from GitHub, which therefore sees your IP address, under its own privacy policy.

In the ChatonLM app

ChatonLM has no account, no telemetry and no analytics. Your conversations, attachments and settings stay on your computer; dictation and voice mode are transcribed locally.

The app only connects to:

• Hugging Face, when you open ModelHub (model lists and model pages) and when you download a speech recognition model or a voice;
• ollama.com, to check that a model name exists and, if you sign in to it, to show your account picture;
• GitHub, to check for and download updates, and to download the files of a voice.

Everything else goes through the Ollama engine, on your computer by default: conversations, model downloads and, if you turn them on, the Ollama account and web search, which are then handled by ollama.com. If you point the app at a server on another machine, your messages, attachments and the transcripts cleaned up by dictation are sent to it.

Your rights

You can ask to see, correct or delete the data about you, or object to its processing, by writing to contact.chatonlm@gmail.com. You can also lodge a complaint with the CNIL (cnil.fr).
